We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team. This position will be responsible for assuring high quality accounting practices by planning and directing accounting activities within the finance department. The position has supervisory responsibilities over other Finance department employees. 

Essential Duties (other duties may be assigned):

  • Assists the VP of Finance and Administration in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll.
  • Analyzes operating results including product margins, manufacturing efficiencies and variances.
  • Minimizes legal and financial exposure by managing past due accounts receivable, excess and obsolete inventory and establishing appropriate reserves.
  • Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.
  • Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records.
  • Responsible for accurate and on-time monthly financials
  • Directs and participates in cost and profit margin analyses.
  • Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
  • Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems.
  • Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
  • Reviews financial statements monthly with senior staff.
  • Directs the installation and maintenance of new accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls.
  • Plans, coordinates, and directs team tasks to achieve Finance Department objectives.
  • Optimizes team effectiveness and accuracy by verifying information via reporting and team communication. 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; and 5 to 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical information in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with extensive knowledge in Excel required.
  • Knowledge of accounting and manufacturing software required.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Budget Maestro, ADP, Vantage, Epicor 9 preferred.

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team. The essential duties are as follows:

  • Assure compliance with Quest quality systems (PC), Verify that the Statement of Work and Supplier capabilities are compatible to meet Quest requirements and delivery profile,
  • Understand and work within FAA regulations to maintain a flow of materials to and through the production work cells while minimizing the assets needed to support production.
  • Coordinate the purchase of material; subcontracted parts, and direct and indirect items.
  • Track overall cost vs. target to assure the MBOM costs stay within budget.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing processes and procedures including: 5S replenishment.
  • Create Purchase Orders.
  • Process Purchase Order Requisitions submitted by various departments.
  • Respond to clearly defined production purchasing signals (Kanban signals).
  • Assist with purchasing administrative tasks such as: vendor file maintenance and routine communications with vendors.
  • Prepares and executes requests for supplier proposals.
  • Analyzes supplier proposals and facilitate supplier selection.
  • Negotiate non-disclosure agreements.
  • Manages supplier program from original proposals through to delivery.
  • Communicates professionally and effectively with internal and external company customer contacts, maintaining effective customer relationships.
  • Contributes actively to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
  • Utilizes formal processes and tools to manage information in a timely and accurate manner.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and minimum 3 - 5 years experience in supply chain field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline strongly preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of best practice supply chain management, inclusive of strategic sourcing and contract management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Intermediate experience level of Purchasing Database and/or MRP.
  • Working knowledge of Vantage preferred.
  • Must be team orientated and work with honesty and ethicality.

Minimum one year of experience as a Quality Inspector 1 or equivalent position (i.e. Delegated Inspection), performing quality inspections in a manufacturing/production environment. Two to three years of aircraft manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Must have extensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of quality and aircraft manufacturing/production. Must have knowledge of and experience in using Precision Measuring Equipment (PME). Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude and attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and thoroughly in a production environment. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite and have excellent communication skills. We are seeking an Aircraft Assembler to join our team. This position is responsible for properly assembling, fastening, and installing parts of the KODIAK® 100 Aircraft. Familiarization with the use of hand and power tools is required. Experience with blueprint reading strongly preferred. Must be able, or be trainable, to competently install solid rivets commonly used in the construction of aircraft and aircraft assemblies. Should be able to select and use proper Precision Measuring Equipment (PME) and have a high degree of mechanical aptitude. Must be able to apply common sense understanding, carry out instructions, and demonstrate good analytical skills, alphanumeric accuracy and reading comprehension. Ability to demonstrate high attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and thoroughly in a production environment required. Must be able to use a computer to access aircraft drawings, process specifications, and other reference material. Good communication skills and intermediate math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals) required. Must be an excellent team player, be dependable, trustworthy and present self with professionalism. The right individual will be teachable and willing to learn.

Aircraft Assembler 2/3[+] READ MORE

We are seeking experienced aircraft assemblers to join our team. These positions are responsible for intermediate to advanced aspects of properly assembling, fastening, and installing parts of the KODIAK® 100 Aircraft. Duties include:

  • Performing a specific, specialized duty such as-aircraft electrical, aircraft plumbing, advanced aircraft fabrication, rigging flight controls, and/or preparing and installing class one fasteners
  • Assisting the team and acting as an aid in team development; assisting with the assembly of major structures, and installs and subassemblies such as bulkheads, fuselage panels, rudders, flaps and elevators
  • Ensuring and maintaining quality controls of designated tools or systems
  • Understanding and performing work according to the Master Production Schedule and utilizing Lean Production Principals and Quality standards

May be required to assist lead as requested with oversight of team members of designated tool or system. Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience and acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of General Aviation manufacturing and/or maintenance is required. Advanced abilities with the use of hand and power tools used in the manufacture and/or maintenance of aluminum aircraft required. Experience with blueprint reading is required. Must be able, or be trainable, to competently install solid rivets commonly used in the construction of aircraft and aircraft assemblies. Must be able to select and use proper precision measuring equipment (PME) and have a high degree of mechanical aptitude. Must be able to apply common sense understanding, carry out instructions, and demonstrate good analytical skills, alphanumeric accuracy and reading comprehension. Ability to demonstrate high attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and thoroughly in a production environment required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Internet Explorer required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and intermediate math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals) required. Must be an excellent team player, be dependable, trustworthy and present self with professionalism. The right individual will be teachable and willing to learn.

Although not specifically required, FAA airframe and powerplant license may be given preference. Other beneficial past work experiences include installing, rigging, and completing engine operational ground runs and leak checks on aircraft turbine engines. In addition, knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, soldering, wiring and avionics installation, and conducting operational checks of avionics equipment found in a modern glass cockpit, as well as verification of systems required for IFR certification, would also be desirable.
