Inventory Clerk I[+] READ MORE

Uphold Quest values and mission and assure high quality aircraft by compiling, and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, or supplies stocked.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Counts material, parts, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records.
  • Compares inventories to records or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.
  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
  • Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost.
  • Ensures timely delivery of all purchased and manufactured parts.
  • Notes all parts shortages and reports shortage issues to Inventory Lead or Purchase Manager.
  • Prepares reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
  • Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.
  • Stocks and issues materials.
  • Maintain clean and organized work environment.

Position Requirements:

  • Intermediate user knowledge of MS Windows XP, MS Office Suite, and Internet Explorer.
  • Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Working knowledge of Vantage preferred.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to demonstrate high attention to detail.

Human Resources Generalist[+] READ MORE

In a supportive role to the HR Manager, aids in the success of the human resources department strategic objectives.  Manages/maintains HRIS functions in ADP system.  Ensures recruiting is pursued in a way that complies with applicable laws and Quest’s Affirmative Action plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Responsible for the administration of the Affirmative Action, EEO, and VETS 100-A reports. Also payroll and other tasks related to the human resource side of ADP.
  • Manage recruiting and staffing logistics once position has been substantiated and hiring requisition has been approved.
  • Perform audits of programs, recordkeeping standards, job analysis and other metrics requested by HR Manager or Administration for effective benchmarking, research, and forecasting.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum three years experience in Human Resources required.

We are looking for someone to uphold Quest vision, mission and values by marketing and selling our high quality aircraft globally.  Utilize a mixture of Dealer and Factory Direct Sales to achieve goals.  Work closely with all Quest business units to expand market presence, increase profitability, and enhance our product offering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Responsible for all facets of the customer relationship process including but not limited to, prospecting, technical marketing, utilizing Salesforce for CRM administration, aircraft demonstrations, and managing the order & delivery process.
  • Work with other managers to grow, strengthen, and improve Quest’s position in the industry.
  • Manage, coordinate and monitor regional sales activities.
  • Develop and coordinate regional sales selling cycle and methodology.
  • Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.

Position Requirements:

  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating at a minimum and ability to maintain at least a 2nd Class Medical.
  • 2,000 hours of total time, with proficiency utilizing the Garmin G1000 Avionics Suite.
  • Previous aircraft sales experience, new manufacturer (OEM) or Dealer preferred; with a particular emphasis on aircraft demonstrations and management of the sales process.
  • Demonstrated experience with contract administration or proposals and negotiation / presentation techniques.
  • Demonstrated customer relationship development and management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales and marketing or related field required. Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred.

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining internal business applications and databases. Design duties include analyzing business requirements, gathering end-user input, and offering solutions. Development duties include coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications critical to the day-to-day operation of the company. Development may include programming for desktop, mobile, and web platforms.

  • Maintain corporate website.
  • Participate in design meetings and analyze company’s internal technology needs.
  • Integrate databases with other information systems and perform configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning and maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Implement, maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server 2012 R2 environment, including all related software and hardware.
  • Administer all aspect of the network, including user accounts, FTP site, group policy, file system security, switches, routers, firewalls, and application deployment.
  • Backup Support for Microsoft Exchange email system, including anti-spam and anti-virus management.
  • Maintain, test, and implement backup procedures. Perform system-wide backups and restores, where required.
  • Responsible for network security, streamlining and securing IT and user resources
  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation
  • Perform software research, installations and upgrades for all systems.
  • Research and implement use of software/technology to streamline business process.
  • Perform analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration, and installation

Position Requirements:

  • Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent certifications are desired, but not required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Quest personnel.

Shipping Inspector II[+] READ MORE

Position summary:

Perform various visual and dimensional inspections of incoming supplier manufactured parts, materials and products for conformance to purchase order requirements and type design. Test various mechanical equipment and other products for conformance to established standards and type design. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Work from Quest and supplier type design drawings, CAD models, Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions, Quest Process Specifications, material specifications, Purchase Order specifications, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Regulations, Quality Assurance Manual (QAM), approved industrial/commercial specifications, approved handbooks, Job Travelers, engineering/tooling/rework orders, and approved written/verbal instruction.
  • Ensure that only the latest approved applicable drawings, specifications, FAA Regulations, Quality Assurance Manual and instructions are used during inspection and testing.
  • Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and computer software to measure parts for conformity to type design and specifications.
  • Examine materials for surface defects such as cracks and pits.
  • Reject defective parts and mark type of defect on parts, container, or inspection tag and place in bonded area until final disposition is determined.
  • Examine articles for defects and sort articles according to extent of defect. Document defects that cause parts or materials to be returned.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) as required. FAI packages to include AS 9102 or other approved documented formats, Supplier Certification Packages and any other documentation deemed necessary to determine if parts meet type design requirements. 

Position Requirements: 

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing software required and Vantage experience preferred.
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Excellent math skills and ability to use measuring tools with accuracy required.
  • 3-5 years aircraft manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
