Technical Writer II[+] READ MORE

Summary: Responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation as it relates to Quest Aircraft products; e.g. aircraft manuals, parts catalogs, field service instructions, etc.  Ensure proper standards are followed in the creation, maintenance, and/or revision of such documents.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Perform and maintain Quest’s technical publication system policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain technical documents and publications based upon personal expertise and technical input from other disciplines (Engineering, Customer Service, etc.)
  • Provide “proofing” of both technical content and language/format of documents for other authors.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or four to eight years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in Adobe products desired.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures, blue prints, business correspondence, and government regulations.
  • Ability to write articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.

Summary: Responsible for clerical duties related to the processing and control of technical documentation.  Ensure proper processes are followed in the maintenance and/or revision of such documents.  Rely upon established instructions, policies, and guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

  • Perform, maintain, and help to improve Quest’s document control system policies and procedures.
  • Assist with short-term Document Control projects when necessary.
  • Mentor lower-level Document Control personnel.

IT Systems Engineer[+] READ MORE

Summary: Uphold Quest values and mission, and assure high quality aircraft by; providing direct support in the day-to-day operations of network hardware, software, and operating systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Participates in planning design, technical review, and implementation for network infrastructure hardware, software, and network operating systems for voice and data communication networks.
  • Coordinates and/or performs additions and changes to hardware, software, operating systems, security certificates, and attached devices; duties include investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation, upgrade, imaging, deployment plan, and testing of new hardware and software.
  • Provides direct support in the day-to-day operations of network hardware, software, and operating systems; duties include evaluation of system utilization, monitoring response time, and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems.
  • Proactively validates the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, backups, systems, key processes, software patches, event logs, and scheduled jobs.
  • Works with IT Manager to define business requirements, systems goals, and to identify and resolve business system issues.
  • Delivers technical documentation for all systems within role.
  • Assists in training and developing junior level staff to help increase their knowledge and continue their growth path at Quest Aircraft.
  • Provide disaster recovery protection to critical data by ensuring backup program is properly configured, administered and maintained; maintain proper configuration and use of tape library, LTO drive & Backup software – develop and test recovery processes.
  • Configure and support network services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Switching, Routing, VPN, Firewall, and FTP.

Position Requirements:

  • 3 Years Work Experience as a System Engineer.
  • 5 Years IT work experience.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, MCITP, VCP, Network+, Security+ preferred but not required.
  • Advanced to Expert Level Skills in implementing, configuring, troubleshooting and administering the following:
    • Enterprise Software Systems: VMWare, MS Server, MS Clients, MS Exchange.
    • Network Services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and FTP.
    • Certificate and Certificate Authorities.
    • Network Devices: Switching, Routers, Firewalls.

Summary:

Supports the engineering department in the areas of fabricating, maintaining, and inspecting tooling, fixtures, and dies and mechanical fabrication tasks as necessary supporting of the total life cycle of the aircraft.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Interfaces with engineers to determine engineering support needs.
  • Obtains or fabricates the necessary components and assembles the system.
  • Operates/tests the assembly as necessary and collects data to verify expected results.
  • Documents as necessary the system design and test results.
  • Fabricates, maintains, inspects, and repairs production tooling in a timely manner.
  • Calibrates production tooling using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) such as Faro Laser Tracker or Faro Arm scanner.

Aircraft Assembler[+] READ MORE

We are seeking Aircraft Assemblers to join our team. This entry level position is responsible for properly assembling, fastening, and installing parts of the KODIAK® 100 Aircraft.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned:

  • Familiarization with the use of hand and power tools.
  • Must be able, or be trainable, to competently install solid rivets commonly used in the construction of aircraft and aircraft assemblies.
  • Experience with blueprint reading preferred.
  • Must be able to apply common sense understanding, carry out instructions, and demonstrate good analytical skills, alphanumeric accuracy and reading comprehension.
  • Ability to demonstrate high attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and thoroughly in a production environment.
  • Must be an excellent team player, be dependable, trustworthy and present self with professionalism.
  • The right individual will be teachable and willing to learn.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Familiar with the use of hand and power tools.
  • Must receive passing grade on Department of Labor competency test.
  • Experience with reading blueprints preferred.
