The first thing most people notice about the KODIAK is the performance we've engineered out of a high power to weight ratio and a great lifting wing. It's impressive. But we've always known we are headed for some of the most brutal environments around the world, utility applications where STOL performance, rugged construction, turbine power, and high useful load are critical. Every decision, big and small, was guided by this. It's why we planned the KODIAK to take float loads from the very beginning. It's why we designed some really tough landing gear. When you get the KODIAK out into the backcountry you see this is a robust airplane designed to thrive on years of abuse.
The end result is a plane that proves when design defies boundaries, FAA certification is just the beginning.
